The Faculty of Arts is one of six faculties at the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Departments The faculty presently houses sixteen academic departments, the School of Accounting and Finance and the Stratford School of Interaction Design and Business. Sheila Ager
Sheila Louise Ager (born 1956) is a Canadian Lecturer and the Director of Hellenistic Studies at the University of Waterloo, Ontario. Her principal area of interest is Greek history, focusing on the Hellenistic Age, from 323 BC to 30 BC. She has further interest in interstate relations in the Hellenistic Period, and much of her work centres on the concept of peaceful resolution of disputes. She also researches the Ptolemaic dynasty, especially its final ruler, Cleopatra VII. Career Ager received her BA and MA from Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario, and was awarded her Ph.D from the University of British Columbia in 1989. University Of Waterloo School Of Accounting And Finance
The School of Accounting and Finance (SAF) at University of Waterloo is a ''professional school'' within the Faculty of Arts. The School was established in 1980 under the name 'School of Accountancy'. Its name was changed in 2008 to better reflect its program offering. Today, more than 1,600 students are enrolled in the School's programs. In September 2009, a new building was officially opened to house the School. The School of Accounting and Finance offers the largest accounting and finance undergraduate cooperative education (co-op) program in Canada. The School's Master of Accounting (MAcc) Program allows students to complete all required Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) modules within eight months, and is only open to students who complete the School's undergrad programs. Wilfrid Laurier University (commonly referred to as WLU or simply Laurier) is a public university in Ontario, Canada, with campuses in Waterloo, Brantford and Milton.
