Created in 1985, the University of Maryland Graduate School, Baltimore (UMGSB) represents the combined graduate and research programs at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB), the university system's doctoral research campuses in the Baltimore area. UMB is the state’s public health and law university devoted to professional and graduate education, research, patient care, and public service. Using state-of-the-art technological support, UMB educates leaders in health care delivery, biomedical science, social services, and law.
