United Serbia (coalition)
United for the Victory of Serbia ( sr-cyrl, Уједињени за победу Србије, Ujedinjeni za pobedu Srbije, UZPS) was an opposition political coalition in Serbia that participated in the 2022 Serbian general election. The coalition was preceded by the Alliance for Serbia and United Opposition of Serbia (UOPS), both of which had existed between 2018 and January 2021. Coalition parties temporarily suspended their cooperation after the dissolution of UOPS, although they resumed cooperation around June 2021. The coalition was officially renewed in November 2021 and formalized in February 2022, under the name United Serbia in order to prepare for the 2022 general election. The coalition nominated Zdravko Ponoš as their presidential candidate, Marinika Tepić as the head of their national parliamentary list, and Vladeta Janković as the candidate for mayor of Belgrade. United Opposition Of Serbia
The United Opposition of Serbia ( sr, Удружена опозиција Србије, Udružena opozicija Srbije, UOPS) was a political coalition in Serbia. It was formed in August 2020 as the direct successor of Alliance for Serbia (SzS). The coalition included 11 parties and movements in total, including Đorđe Vukadinović as an independent individual. UOPS operated as a "confederation of political parties" and was the subject of inter-coalition conflicts that took place during its existence. It positioned itself as a coalition that opposed Aleksandar Vučić and sought to form a "democratic society" and free and fair elections, while it also supported the accession of Serbia to the European Union. The Movement for Reversal ( sr-Cyrl, Покрет за преокрет, Pokret za preokret, PZP) is a centre-left political organization in Serbia. Its leader is Janko Veselinović, a professor at the University of Novi Sad. History Movement for Reversal was found in 2015, by a Serbian academic Janko Veselinović, who decided to split from the Social Democratic Party, claiming that its leadership does not have a clear vision of how to counter the Serbian Progressive Party and the Socialist Party of Serbia. The organization participated in the 2016 Serbian parliamentary elections in a coalition along with the Serbian Left and the Social Democratic Union. Kruševac
Kruševac ( sr-cyr, Крушевац, , tr, Alacahisar or Kruşevca) is a city and the administrative center of the Rasina District in central Serbia. Aleksinac ( sr-Cyrl, Алексинац) is a town and municipality located in the Nišava District of southern Serbia. According to 2011 census, the town has a population of 17,978 inhabitants, while the municipality has 51,863 inhabitants. History Prehistory and Antiquity The territory of the municipality of Aleksinac has been inhabited since the neolithic age. 2022 Belgrade City Assembly Election
Local elections were held in Belgrade on 3 April 2022 to elect members of the City Assembly.
