''United News'' ( uk, Телемарафон «Єдині новини», translit=Telemarafon «Yedyni novyny») or ''UA together'' ( uk, UA разом) is a joint telethon, information telethon which was launched on February 24, 2022 at the start of 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, Russia's 2022 invasion of Ukraine. It began broadcasting at the start of the invasion on February 24, 2022 as ''#UAtogether'' ( uk, #UAразом, translit=#UArazom) and broadcast on Rada TV, the official television channel of the Verkhovna Rada. TET is a Ukrainian-language national entertainment TV channel broadcasting in Ukraine. It is part of the large 1+1 Media Group, and broadcasts to more than 100 cities in Ukraine, with a technical penetration of 92.4%. The target audience of the channel is 8–40 years old. History The TV channel appeared on air in Kyiv on January 24, 1992, under the name “Tet-a-tet” and became the first alternative to the “solid” state television. Novyi Kanal (Ukrainian: Новий Канал) is a Ukrainian television channel. The channel is a part of the Starlight Media broadcasting group, created by Viktor Pinchuk. History The channel was launched on July 15, 1998. At first, it was broadcast only in Kyiv, but since 1999, it has extended its range to six other regions of Ukraine. Starting in 2000, the channel has been received in more than 17 major cities. Novyi Kanal has been transmitted by satellite since December 20, 2000. The legal basis for the introduction of martial law in Ukraine ( uk, Воєнний стан в Україні) is the Constitution of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine "On the legal status of martial law" (No. 389-VIII from May 12, 2015) and presidential decrees about the introduction of martial law. Modern-day martial law has been introduced two times in Ukraine. The previous law "On the legal status of martial law" was adopted in 2000 and signed by President Leonid Kuchma. It was changed several times: in 2003, 2008, 2010, 2012, and 2014. In 2015, Petro Poroshenko introduced bill No. 2541 to parliament.
