United Autosports is a sports car racing team, founded by American businessman and entrepreneur Zak Brown and former British racing driver Richard Dean. In 2020, United Autosports became the first ever team to win the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans (LMP2 Class) and two other high profile endurance sports car championships in the same year - the FIA World Endurance Championship (LMP2) and the European Le Mans Series. In 2022, the team is contesting the FIA World Endurance Championship, European Le Mans Series and Michelin Le Mans Cup. The daughter of former rally driver Chris Munnings, she currently competes in the new electric off-road racing series Extreme E for the Andretti United team. Andy Meyrick (born 4 September 1985) is a British racing driver currently competing in the United SportsCar Championship and the Blancpain Endurance Series. Racing career Single seaters Meyrick made his racing debut in the BRSCC Formula Ford 1600 North West championship at Oulton Park. Wayne Boyd
Wayne Boyd (born 25 October 1990) is a British racing driver from County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Boyd won the British Formula Ford Championship in 2008 with Jamun Racing. He won 13 out of 25 championship races. Sat on the pole for 15 races and was on the podium 20 times out of 25 races. In the same year he won the Formula Ford Festival Duratec class. His dominate performance earned him named as one of British Racing Driver Club Superstars and nominated for the BRDC McLaren Autosport Award. Finn Gehrsitz (born 25 September 2004) is a German racing driver currently competing in the European Le Mans Series for United Autosports. Career 2020 Having been slated to make his car racing debut in the Lamera Cup at Misano in 2020, Gehrsitz instead debuted in the Porsche Super Sports Cup at the Hockenheimring owing to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the racing schedule.
