Union College (Nebraska) Alumni
Union College is a Private university, private liberal arts college in Schenectady, New York. Founded in 1795, it was the first institution of higher learning chartered by the New York State Board of Regents, and second in the state of New York, after Columbia University, Columbia College (formerly King's College). In the 19th century, it became known as the "Mother of Fraternities",Somers (2003), p. 304 as Union Triad, three of Fraternities and sororities in North America, the earliest Greek letter societies were established there. The school was once referred to as one of the "Big Three (colleges)#Big Four, Big Four" alongside Harvard University, Yale University and Princeton University, before the American Civil War, Civil War and a financial scandal led to its fall from grace and the top national rankings. Minerva (; ett, Menrva) is the Roman goddess of wisdom, justice, law, victory, and the sponsor of arts, trade, and strategy. Minerva is not a patron of violence such as Mars, but of strategic war. National Space Grant College And Fellowship Program
The space-grant colleges are educational institutions in the United States that comprise a network of fifty-two consortia formed for the purpose of outer space-related research. Each consortium is based in one of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico, and each consists of multiple independent space-grant institutions, with one of the institutions acting as lead.
