Ecclesiastes
Ecclesiastes (; hbo, קֹהֶלֶת, Qōheleṯ, grc, Ἐκκλησιαστής, Ekklēsiastēs) is one of the Ketuvim ("Writings") of the Hebrew Bible and part of the Wisdom literature of the Christian Old Testament. The title commonly used in English is a Latin transliteration of the Greek translation of the Hebrew word ( or ). An unnamed author introduces "The words of Kohelet, son of David, king in Jerusalem" ( 1:1) and does not use his own voice again until the final verses (12:9–14), where he gives his own thoughts and summarises the statements of Kohelet; the main body of the text is ascribed to Kohelet himself. Kohelet proclaims (1:2) "Vanity of vanities! All is futile!"; the Hebrew word , "vapor", can figuratively mean "insubstantial", "vain", "futile", or "meaningless". Given this, the next verse presents the basic existential question with which the rest of the book is concerned: "What profit hath a man for all his toil, in which he toils under the sun?", expre ...

NCIS (soundtrack)
''NCIS: The Official TV Soundtrack'' is a series of soundtrack albums featuring music used in the CBS television series NCIS. The first volume in the series, released on February 10, 2009, received attention for its method of compiling music for the album; show producers and writers were presented previously unreleased tracks from popular artists "''ranging from Perry Farrell to Jakob Dylan as the shows were being crafted, and then taking inspiration from those tunes to help craft the show.''" This method contrasted with the norm for TV soundtracks, which tend to be compilations of previously released music that is already available individually or on other albums. ''NCIS: The Official TV Soundtrack – Vol. 2'' was released on November 3, 2009, according tAmazon.com Volume 1 Overview ''NCIS: The Official TV Soundtrack'' is the first soundtrack album from the television series ''NCIS''. Contact (Thirteen Senses Album)
''Contact'' is the second major label album by Thirteen Senses. Released in the UK on the 2 April 2007, it includes the single " All the Love in Your Hands". The album had originally been scheduled for release on 22 January, but due to more songs being written and recorded, the release was postponed. The band issued a statement on 12 December apologising for the delay and explaining that "our creative juices continued to flow, and we came up with some more material that we couldn't ignore. As a result, we had to record these songs leading to missed production deadlines." As a result of this, "Talking to Sirens" was added to the final record and the song "Final Call" from the promotional CD release of the album was taken out. Six of the tracks from the album were previewed for a short period of time from 6 October 2006 on the official Thirteen Senses website. These were tracks 1,2,4,5,6 and 9 from the track listing below. "Follow Me" was used in the closing sequence of the sea ...

Radiation (album)
''Radiation'' is the tenth studio album by the British neo-progressive rock band Marillion, released in 1998. Recorded at The Racket Club between November 1997 and June 1998, it was co-produced and mixed by Stewart Every. The album was remixed by Michael Hunter in September to November 2012 and a reissued remastered version was released in 2013. Background For this album the band decided to experiment with different instrument tones, vocal effects, samples (making transitions between songs by cutting and pasting pieces from elsewhere in the album), and the like. As the album recording progressed, there was "a desire for new sounds and a desire not to repeat ourselves and to fall into familiar patterns", according to guitarist Steve Rothery. The first element was that Rothery decided he wanted a different guitar sound. They placed a ban on digital delay and chorus which had been Rothery's sound for years. He borrowed a Gretsch from Dave Gregory, and played on a Harmony guit ...

Modern (Buzzcocks Album)
''Modern'' is the sixth studio album by English pop punk band Buzzcocks. After the critical success of the band's previous album '' All Set'' (1996), the band became disillusioned with trying to be a rock band and set out to become more "modern," thus birthing the project. Recording the album in Chipping Barnet with the band's bassist Tony Barber producing, ''Modern'' sees a strong electronic music influence, with electronic instruments and drum machines featuring on the songs, especially those written by Steve Diggle, who wrote five of the album's songs whilst Pete Shelley wrote the other eight songs. Although the album was recorded with the idea that it sounded contemporary, the album's sound was said to emulate new wave music from the early 1980s, including from Pete Shelley's solo career, and was also categorised as sounding like the art punk band Magazine, formed in the late 1970s by former Buzzcocks member Howard Devoto. One critic said that "rather than destroy the ...

Black Sabbath Vol
Black is a color which results from the absence or complete absorption of visible light. It is an achromatic color, without hue, like white and grey. It is often used symbolically or figuratively to represent darkness. Black and white have often been used to describe opposites such as good and evil, the Dark Ages versus Age of Enlightenment, and night versus day. Since the Middle Ages, black has been the symbolic color of solemnity and authority, and for this reason it is still commonly worn by judges and magistrates. Black was one of the first colors used by artists in Neolithic cave paintings. It was used in ancient Egypt and Greece as the color of the underworld. In the Roman Empire, it became the color of mourning, and over the centuries it was frequently associated with death, evil, witches, and magic. In the 14th century, it was worn by royalty, clergy, judges, and government officials in much of Europe. It became the color worn by English romantic poets ...

Its release coincided with the release of Rich's previously-unreleased debut album ''Underneath the Same Moon'', also recorded in 1999 and released in 2006. Unlike Kenny's work within the country music genre with Big & Rich, ''Live a Little'' is a mixture between rock and pop. This album was followed by ''The Quiet Times of a Rock and Roll Farm Boy'' in 2009 and ''Big Kenny's Love Everybody Traveling Musical Medicine Show Mix Tape, Vol. 1'' in 2010.CMJ New Music Report - 30 Aug 1999 - Page 24 "Recommended Tracks: "Candy Colored Glasses," "Under The Sun," "Last To Know" " The track "I Pray for You" (listed here as "Pray for You") was also recorded by Rich on ''Underneath the Same Moon'', and was a minor chart single for him in 2000 ...
