Revolt (The Dreams Album)
''Revolt'' is the second studio album by Faroese alternative rock band The Dreams, released on February 22, 2010. Published by Black Pelican and recorded in the Chief Management Studio, it was produced by Chief 1 (Lars Pedersen). The album comprises ten songs all written in English, because they want to reach not only Denmark, also other countries. Three singles were released from this album: "Under the Sun", "Revolt" and "The Optimist". The Dreams
The Dreams was a punk rock band from Tórshavn, Faroe Islands formed in 2006. They were based in Denmark along with their producer Lars Pedersen. They also have had success in the Faroe Islands, and all across Europe. Band history Early years (2003 - 2005) In 2003 in Tórshavn, friends Hans Edward Andreasen, Heini Mortensen, Heðin Egholm Skov and Edmund í Garði, formed a punk band called 'Zink'. Heðin left the band in 2004, to be replaced by Eirikur Gilstón Corfitz Andersen. In the same year, they released an album called ''Totally Love Songs'', which contained songs in both Faroese and English. The band was active until late 2004, when Edmund í Garði decided to leave the band due to conflicting interests regarding the band's musical style. Hans Edward Andreasen, Heini Mortensen and Eirikur Gilstón Corfitz Andersen decided to continue the band under the name "The Dreams". ''Den Nye By'' is the debut album by Faroese alternative rock band The Dreams, released on February 8, 2008. Published by Apache Records and recorded in the Chief Management Studio. Produced by Chief 1 (Lars Pedersen). The album comprises 11 songs all written in Danish. Three successful singles were released from this album: "La' mig være", "Himlen Falder/Helvede Kalder" and "Backstabber". Release They released their album at the same time their first music video "La' mig være", which directly moved into the lead in DR1 Boogie Listen. A second single, "Himlen Falder/Helvede Karlder", was released in May and also ranked first in DR1 Boogie Listen and Denmark's most popular music videos chart, finishing in the top three for ten weeks. Faroese People

Hans Edward Andreasen
Hans Edward Andreasen (born 12 November 1983) is a Faroese musician, best known for his work as the guitarist and lead vocalist of the alternative rock band The Dreams. He is the founder of the band along with Eirikur Gilstón Corfitz Andersen and Heini Mortensen. He is currently the lead guitarist and vocalist for Swardi. Early life Hans Edward was born in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands. He dropped out of school when he was 16. He started working as an apprentice baker and finished training as a baker when he was only 20 years old even though he hated that job and had a passion for music. He used all of his free time in his own little home recording studio, composing and recording demos. Professional career Zink only released one album named ''Totally Love Songs''. Eirikur Gilstón Corfitz Andersen (born 16 December 1984) is a Faroese musician, best known for his work as the bassist and backing vocalist of the alternative rock band The Dreams. He is the founder of the band along with Hans Edward Andreasen and Heini Mortensen. Early life with Zink Eirikur was born in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands. Son of Birger Steen Corfitz Andersen and Malan Sigrun Olafsdóttir Gilstón Andersen. He has two brothers, Heini and Ólavur. His brother Heini is also a musician, they are now both members of The Dreams.
