Um Tae-hwa (born 1980) is a South Korean film director and screenwriter. Um's directorial feature debut ''Ingtoogi: The Battle of Internet Trolls'' (2013)—a graduation project for the Korean Academy of Film Arts (KAFA)—was nominated for Best Film, Best Director and Best New Director at the 1st Wildflower Film Awards and Best New Director (Film) at the 50th Baeksang Arts Awards in 2014. A short film is any motion picture that is short enough in running time not to be considered a feature film. ''Concrete Utopia'' () is an upcoming South Korean disaster-thriller film directed by Um Tae-hwa and starring Lee Byung-hun, Park Seo-joon and Park Bo-young. It is framed by scenes set in 1979. Plot Dr. Park Jung-nam finds a photo album dating back to his days as an intern at the Ansaeng Hospital. This triggers memories of his life. In 1942, as a young medical intern, Jung-nam's arranged marriage ended when his fiancée, whom he had never met, committed suicide. Later he was assigned to monitor the morgue late at night.
