Ulloor Award
Ulloor S. Parameswara Iyer was one of the modern triumvirate poets of Malayalam poetry. There are two major annual literary awards instituted in his memory, both known by the name Ulloor Award. The older among the two awards was instituted by Mahakavi Ulloor Memorial Library and Research Institute and presented at Ulloor Memorial in Jagathy, Trivandrum coinciding with the birth anniversary of the poet. Ulloor S
Ulloor is a city locality in the Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. It was the home of the modern Malayalam triumvirate poet Ulloor S. Parameswara Iyer. The Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram and Credence Hospital Thiruvananthapuram, Sree Uthram Thirunal Royal Hospital are located at Ulloor. Ulloor comes under Cheruvaikkal village limits of Thiruvananthapuram taluk. It comes under Kazhakootam legislative assembly constituency and Thiruvananthapuram Lok Sabha constituency. ''Malayala Manorama'' is a morning newspaper in Malayalam published from Kottayam, Kerala, India by the Malayala Manorama Company Limited.
