Ullna Golf Club
Ullna Golf & Country Club is a golf club situated 20 km north of Stockholm on the shore of Lake Ullna in the municipality of Österåker, Sweden. The premier championship venue in the region at the time, it hosted the Scandinavian Enterprise Open on the European Tour 1983–1987. History Opened in 1981, the course was conceived and designed by Sven Tumba with the aim of hosting international competitions of the highest level. Prince Bertil, Duke of Halland officially inaugurated the course on 27 August 1981. Ullna has been consistently ranked as one of the finest courses in Sweden, and had until the mid-1990s, an unrivaled position as the best course in the Stockholm area. In the Swedish ''Golf Digest'' 2005 ranking of Swedish courses, it was ranked 11th. In 2020, following the Jack Nicklaus redesign, it ranked 4th. Ullna is famous for its beautiful setting. Österåker Municipality
Österåker Municipality ( sv, Österåkers kommun, ) is a municipality in Stockholm County in east central Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Åkersberga, with a population of 26,727 (2005). From 1974 to 1982 Österåker was part of Vaxholm Municipality. Its location by the Stockholm archipelago, in the Roslagen area, attracts both people who settles here, often commuting to Stockholm, and visiting tourists. Österåker boasts several golf courses, many possibilities for canoeing, horse riding, fishing and other nature activities. Greg Turner
Greg Turner (born 21 February 1963) is a New Zealand professional golfer. Turner was born in Dunedin. He attended the University of Oklahoma in the United States but has spent most of his career on the PGA Tour of Australasia and the European Tour. He won four tournaments on the European Tour and achieved a career best ranking of 18th on the European Tour Order of Merit in 1997. He has represented New Zealand in international competitions many times and was one of Peter Thomson's two wild card selections (along with Frank Nobilo for the winning International Team in the 1998 Presidents Cup. The 1986 European Tour was the 15th official season of golf tournaments known as the PGA European Tour. The season was made up of 26 tournaments counting for the Order of Merit and several non-counting "Approved Special Events". The Order of Merit was won by Spain's Seve Ballesteros, who won six tournaments during the season. Changes for 1986 There were several changes from the previous season, with the addition of the Epson Grand Prix of Europe Matchplay Championship and the PLM Open; the return of the Scottish Open, as the Glasgow Open was rebranded, and the loss of the GSI L'Equipe Open. Ian Baker-Finch
Ian Michael Baker-Finch (born 24 October 1960) is an Australian professional golfer and sports commentator, who is best known for winning The Open Championship in 1991. Early years Baker-Finch was born in Nambour, Queensland, Australia. He grew up in the same Queensland "neighbourhood" as fellow professional golfers Greg Norman and Wayne Grady. Annika Charlotta Sörenstam (; born 9 October 1970) is a Swedish professional golfer. She is regarded as one of the best female golfers in history. The Ladies European Tour is a professional golf tour for women which was founded in 1978. It is based at Buckinghamshire Golf Club near London in England. Like many UK-based sports organisations it is a company limited by guarantee, a legal structure which enables it to focus on maximising returns to its members through prize money, rather than on making profits for investors.
