Ulf Selmer
Ulf Selmer (December 10, 1885 – September 24, 1961) was a Norwegian actor and painter. Selmer was the son of the actor Jens Selmer (1845–1928) at the Christiania Theater and his wife, the actress Eleonora Josephine Nielsen (1850–1930), whose stage name was Leonora Selmer. Selmer debuted at the Central Theater in 1904; he was in the National Tour () traveling ensemble of Ludovica Levy (1856–1922) for one year before he was at the Fahlstrøm Theater for one year. In 1911 he moved to the newly opened Trondheim National Theater, where he remained until 1918. This was followed by three years at Chat Noir and one year at the National Theatre in Oslo before he returned to the Central Theater, where he celebrated the fortieth year of his acting career in 1944. His last appearance on stage was around 1954. He helped shape Norwegian film from the silent film era to more modern films in the mid-1950s. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. Oslo City Museum (''Oslo Bymuseum'') is a department of Oslo Museum in Oslo, Norway. The museum is located at Frogner Manor (''Frogner Hovedgård'') in Frogner Park (''Frognerparken''). The museum was first founded in 1905 as the association ''Det gamle Christiania''. Initiator and committee leader until 1912 was architect Fritz Holland (1874-1959). ''Trine!'' is a Norwegian black-and-white drama film from 1952 directed by Toralf Sandø. Eva Røine starred in the title role. The film was based on Hans Geelmuyden's novel ''Trine!'', and Geelmuyden wrote the script for the film together with Sandø. Plot Per Gjerpen works as a salesman and accountant. One day he sees Trine while he is out on a sales tour. He buys her two lottery tickets. This is the beginning of a contact that later deepens into a love affair. The couple discovers that they have won a house in the lottery, but it later turns out not to be true. The numbers were read incorrectly. Instead, they are able to use a house owned by Aunt Andrea. The film was a joint production between the Norwegian and Swedish film industries, and it was shot in parallel with a Swedish version titled '' Vi som går köksvägen''. Both versions of the film were directed by Tancred Ibsen and Gustaf Molander.
