Ugchelen
Ugchelen is part of the municipality of Apeldoorn in the Gelderland province of the Netherlands, and is today seen as a neighbourhood of Apeldoorn. Ugchelen is located South West of Apeldoorn and has about 7000 inhabitants. Like Apeldoorn, the old village thanked its growth to the paper industry, it had a total of 11 watermills. In 2006 it received a new water mill called The Bouwhof Mill. The most important hospital in the region, Gelre hospital, is located next to Ugchelen. Apeldoorn
Apeldoorn (; Dutch Low Saxon: ) is a municipality and city in the province of Gelderland in the centre of the Netherlands. It is located about 60 km east of Utrecht, 60 km west of Enschede, 25 km north of Arnhem and 35 km south of Zwolle. The municipality of Apeldoorn, including villages like Beekbergen, Loenen (Apeldoorn), Loenen, Ugchelen and Hoenderloo, had a population of 165,525 on 1 December 2021. The western half of the municipality lies on the Veluwe ridge, with the eastern half in the IJssel valley. Jaime Bruinier
Jaime Martijn Bruinier (born 28 June 1987) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He formerly played for Vitesse, AGOVV and Sparta Rotterdam. Club career Bruinier made his debut in professional football as a member of the Vitesse squad in the 2006–07 season. On 3 March 2007, he came on the pitch for the first time as a substitute for the injured Onur Kaya in a 2–3 home loss to Excelsior. For the 2008–09 season, Bruinier was sent on loan to AGOVV. After the season, his contract with Vitesse expired and AGOVV signed Bruinier on a permanent two-year contract. In 2011, he joined Sparta Rotterdam from AGOVV on a three-year contract. Makkinga
Makkinga ( fy, Makkingea) is a village in the Dutch municipality of Ooststellingwerf in the province of Friesland. On 1 January 2017, it had 1,040 inhabitants. Makkinga is known among transportation planners and engineers as the first community to introduce the concept of shared space, which means the removal of traffic controls in the high street to encourage safer interaction between vehicles and pedestrians. Jan Kromkamp (born 17 August 1980) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a right-back. He currently manages CSV Apeldoorn. Kromkamp played a total of 201 games in the Eredivisie and scored eight goals in nine seasons, playing for both AZ and PSV. He also played in England and Spain, and started and finished his career at Go Ahead Eagles. Kromkamp was included in the Netherlands squad for the 2006 World Cup. Spijkenisse () is a city in the province of South Holland, Netherlands. Following an administrative reform in 2015, it is part of the municipality of Nissewaard, and has a population of 72,500. It covers an area of of which is water. It is part of the Greater Rotterdam area. History Archaeological evidence suggests that the area around Spijkenisse has been inhabited for several thousand years. The area's prehistoric inhabitants depended on fishing in the Maas and hunting in the surrounding swamps for sustenance. Spijkenisse also has an anthem, the song is called "Spijkenisse" by Rik Hoogendoorn. The song was released in 2012 and is very popular amongst people who live in Spijkenisse. The oldest known reference to the name ''Spickenisse'' is in a source from 1231. Spijkenisse is a portmanteau of the words ' ( spit) and ''nesse'' (nose) meaning "pointy nose."
