USS Baxter
USS ''Baxter'' (APA-94) was a in service with the United States Navy from 1944 to 1946. She was subsequently sold into merchant service and was finally scrapped in 1968. Leyte Gulf is a gulf in the Eastern Visayan region in the Philippines. Manus Island is part of Manus Province in northern Papua New Guinea and is the largest of the Admiralty Islands.
