USL Milwaukee
Milwaukee Pro Soccer is an upcoming American professional Association football, soccer club located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The club is planned to debut in the USL Championship in 2025. History On October 19, 2022, it was announced that a USL Championship franchise had been awarded to Milwaukee-based investors Kacmarcik Enterprises and Milwaukee Pro Soccer. At that time it was also announced that the club would begin play in the 2025 season at a newly-constructed 8,000-seat soccer-specific stadium in the upcoming Iron District MKE area. The franchise is set to become the city's first professional, outdoor soccer team since the Milwaukee Rampage folded in 2002. A "Name the Team Campaign" created by ownership to hear fan suggestions for team names and branding is currently ongoing. Iron District Stadium
Iron District Stadium is an 8,000-seat soccer-specific stadium currently under construction in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Once completed, it will be home to the city's USL Milwaukee, yet-to-be-named USL Championship club and the Marquette Golden Eagles soccer and lacrosse teams. The stadium will be located in the city's Westown neighborhood on the corner of N. 6th St. and W. Michigan St. and is expected to be completed in 2026. History The stadium was first announced in May 2022 as part of the larger Iron District sports and entertainment district development, which will also include housing, a 3,500-seat concert venue, and retail space. The USL Championship (USLC) is a professional men's soccer league in the United States that began its inaugural season in 2011. The USL is sanctioned by the United States Soccer Federation (U.S. Soccer) as a Division II league since 2017, placing it under Major League Soccer (Division I) in the hierarchy. Milwaukee Rampage
The Milwaukee Rampage are a former defunct professional American soccer team, that was located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which played in the A-League. History Founded in 1993 by Milwaukee area businessmen Dan Doucette and Jim Hock, the Rampage played its first game on June 24, 1993, against Siarka Tarnobrzeg. Head coach Boro Sucevic fielded a team which included Tony Sanneh, Brian McBride, Kris Kelderman, Joey Kirk and Steve Provan. The Rampage played another six exhibition games that summer before playing in its first full season a year later. The team entered the 1994 United States Interregional Soccer League where it fell to the Minnesota Thunder in the Midwest Division final.
