"UK Hun?" is a song recorded by British drag girl group United Kingdolls for The RuRuvision Song Contest challenge during their stint on the second series of reality television competition, ''RuPaul's Drag Race UK.'' The episode has contestants participate in a Eurovision-style performance. The song was released on February 11, 2021. It was primarily written by Leland, with Lawrence Chaney, Bimini Bon-Boulash, A'Whora and Tayce writing the lyrics for their individual verses. Two versions of the song were released, with a second being released by Bananadrama, consisting of: Joe Black, Tia Kofi, Sister Sister and Ellie Diamond. This version did not chart. Upon the success of the United Kingdolls version, two members of the group: Tayce and Bimini have begun their solo recording careers, with the latter being the first drag queen from any Drag Race franchise to sign a major mainstream record deal, signing a joint deal with Relentless Records and Sony Music in July 2022. United Kingdolls
The second series of ''RuPaul's Drag Race UK'' began airing on 14 January 2021 on the BBC Three (online), BBC Three section of BBC iPlayer and WOW Presents Plus streaming service. The series was confirmed and casting was closed on 15 November 2019. Production was suspended mid 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic but resumed late 2020. The cast of 12 new queens was announced on 16 December 2020 and the series premiered on 14 January 2021. It was also announced a special episode ''RuPaul's Drag Race UK: Queens on Lockdown'' would air, following the queens during the first lockdown. This special episode was released on 12 February. The winner of the second series of ''RuPaul's Drag Race UK'' was Lawrence Chaney, with Bimini Bon-Boulash and Tayce as the runners-up. The ''United Kingdolls'' version of "UK Hun", which featured in the fifth episode of the series, reached number 27 in the Official UK Charts. Ellie Diamond
Elliot Glen (born 20 December 1998), better known by the stage name Ellie Diamond, is a Scottish drag performer most known for competing on the second series of ''RuPaul's Drag Race UK''. Career Diamond has been as a drag performer since 2015 in Dundee, and has said that although there isn't an established drag scene there, she hopes that to start it. Her drag name derives from the feminine version of her birth name, Elliot and Diamond is inspired by British singers: Ellie Goulding, Marina and The Diamonds and Hannah Diamond, and that in drag she "shines like a diamond". In December 2020, Diamond was announced as one of twelve contestants competing on the second series of ''RuPaul's Drag Race UK'', and placed fourth overall in the competition. Leo Loren, better known by the stage name Baga Chipz, is an English drag queen known for competing on the first series of ''RuPaul's Drag Race UK'' (2019) and later the first season of '' RuPaul's Drag Race: UK vs the World'' (2022). Baga Chipz also appeared in the fifth series of the Channel 4 school drama series ''Ackley Bridge'' (2022). Career Baga Chipz is a part of "The Buffalo Girls", a drag troupe also featuring Lady Lloyd and Silver Summers. "Supermodel (You Better Work)" is a song by American dance music singer and drag queen RuPaul. It was released in November 1993 as the third single (but first major label single) from his debut album, '' Supermodel of the World'' (1993). The song was a dance club anthem that, though particularly popular within the gay handbag house scene, found mainstream success. The song consists of RuPaul giving advice to a young black supermodel, and briefly several other models, largely consisting of "sashay, shantay!", "work, turn to the left", "work, now turn to the right", and "you better work". The Frock Destroyers are a musical group with ''RuPaul's Drag Race UK'' contestants Baga Chipz, Blu Hydrangea, and Divina de Campo. They made the UK Top 40 in 2019 with "Break Up Bye Bye", which charted at number 35 on the UK Singles Chart. There was a campaign to have the Frock Destroyers represent the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020. The group's name is a pun on the pornographic double act, the Cock Destroyers.
