Preliminary round Preliminary round consists of 24 teams, split in 6 groups of 4 teams. Round is played in round-robin format. Winners of each groups qualify for Qualifying round, where are joined by 18 best ranked teams. Topsportcentrum Rotterdam
Topsportcentrum Rotterdam is an indoor arena located in Rotterdam next to the Feijenoord Stadion. The arena opened in 2000 and has a capacity of 2,500 seats. It holds many sports events in various sports and levels, such as international World and European Championships and Dutch National Championships. The complex exists as two sporting halls. The first is located on the first floor and is 48x28 metres, while the pitch is 40x20 metres. On the second floor another sports hall of 44x24 metres is located. The pitch in this hall is 40x20 metres also, but the underground is rebound ace hardcourt. As well as the sporting facilities, various hotel, restaurant and cafe facilities are available. Union of European Football Associations (UEFA ; french: Union des associations européennes de football; german: Union der europäischen Fußballverbände) is one of six continental bodies of governance in association football. It governs football, futsal and beach football in Europe and the Eurasian transcontinental countries of Russia, Turkey, Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, and Kazakhstan, as well as one Asian country Israel. UEFA Futsal Euro 2012
The UEFA Futsal Euro 2012 was the eighth official edition of the UEFA European Championship for national futsal teams. It was hosted by Croatia, and was played from January, 31 to February, 11. 12 teams competed for the title, with 11 teams gain entries from qualification rounds, while Croatia gained an automatic entry as hosts. The championship was played in the two biggest Croatian cities, Zagreb and the 15,024 seater Arena Zagreb and in Split, at the 10,931 capacity Spaladium Arena. Spain defended their title, having won it for the sixth consecutive time. Bids Three nations had made bids for the 2012 Championship. Alongside Croatia, Belgium – which had failed in the 2010 bid – made a new bid with Antwerp and Charleroi, while Republic of Macedonia, Macedonia made one with the city of Skopje.
