UEFA Euro 1980 Qualifying
The qualifying round for UEFA Euro 1980 consisted of 31 teams divided into seven groups; three of five teams and four of four teams. The qualifying round (drawn in Rome on 30 November 1977) was played at various times between May 1978 and February 1980, with some groups concluding earlier than others. Hrazdan Stadium
Hrazdan Stadium ( hy, Հրազդան մարզադաշտ) is a multi-use, all-seater stadium in Yerevan, Armenia, opened in 1970. Being the largest sports venue in Armenia, Hrazdan was mostly used for football matches. It was the home stadium of the Armenia national football team until 1999 and has hosted the occasional international game since then. The stadium is able to host 54,208 spectators after the most recent reconstruction in 2008, which converted the stadium into an all-seater one. Before the reconstruction, Hrazdan was able to hold up to 70,000 spectators. It was among the top four stadiums of the Soviet Union by its capacity. The stadium hosted the Armenian Cup finals on many occasions, as well as the opening ceremony of the Pan-Armenian Games in 2003. Maik Galakos
Ilias "Maik" Galakos ( el, Μάικ Γαλάκος) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a striker and was active during the 1970s and 1980s. Galakos was born on 23 November 1951 in Kalogreza, Greece and his family emigrated to Germany where he first played football for Fortuna Düsseldorf (1972–1973). He returned to Greece and played for Olympiacos from 1973 to 1981 before signing with Panathinaikos. Galakos played for the greens between 1981 and 1985. He retired after playing in 255 Alpha Ethniki matches. Galakos was capped 30 times by the Greece national team, scoring five goals. Thomas Mavros
Thomas Mavros ( el, Θωμάς Μαύρος, born 31 May 1954) is a Greek former international football player who played as a striker. He was "the flag" of AEK Athens, that led the club to huge success, during the 70's and 80's. Mavros is regarded as one of the best players to play club football in Greece having scored a record number of 260 goals in the Greek championship and played for the World XI in 1984. Georgios Delikaris
Georgios Delikaris (Greek: Γεώργιος Δεληκάρης, born 22 July 1951) is a former Greek football player, who spent the greatest part of his career at Olympiacos F.C. He is widely accepted amongst fans as one of the greatest Greek footballers of all time, coming in fourth in the Greek vote for the UEFA Jubilee Awards, first amongst former Olympiacos players. Nicknamed the "Gianni Rivera of Greece", he is also often compared to George Best, due to similarity in appearance and playing style. Dimitris "Takis" Nikoloudis ( el, Δημήτρης "Τάκης" Νικολούδης; born 26 August 1951) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a midfielder and a former manager. Club career Iraklis From a young age Nikoloudis was involved in sports, joining Iraklis. According to the customs of the time, the young athletes were involved in more than one sport within the club, until they chose which one to focus on. Thus Nikoloudis, apart from football, was also active in basketball, even playing for the youth team of Iraklis.
