Uuno Turhapuro (film)
''Uuno Turhapuro'' is a 1973 Finnish comedy film directed by Ere Kokkonen, and the first, black and white Uuno Turhapuro film. It stars Vesa-Matti Loiri, Marjatta Raita, Pertti Pasanen, and Simo Salminen. Uuno Turhapuro is the main character of the film, which was created by Spede and Loiri for Spedevisio. The unexpected success led to the creation of a 19-movie series. In an effort to save money, Uuno became Spede's first feature to be filmed and edited on video before being printed to film for theatrical distribution. This method was employed by Spede all the way into his late 1980s features. The film was the first produced by Spede after nearly a two-year-long hiatus, when Spede's three feature films released in 1971 ('' Hirttämättömät'', '' Saatanan Radikaalit'' and '' Kahdeksas Veljes'') all failed to make a notable profit. Plot Uuno (Vesa-Matti Loiri) is shabby and lazy man, who has married a rich woman Elisabeth (Marjatta Raita) in order to eat and sleep from day to ...

Hirttämättömät
''The Unhanged'' (Finnish: ''Hirttämättömät'') is a 1971 Finnish western comedy film directed by Spede Pasanen and Vesa-Matti Loiri. It is the sequel to the 1970 film ''Speedy Gonzales - noin 7 veljeksen poika''. In addition to featuring Pasanen and Loiri (originally set to appear in ''Speedy Gonzales'', but unable to appear due to an injury), the film also stars Pasanen's other stock actors, such as Simo Salminen and Olavi Ahonen. The two main characters are parody versions of The Lone Ranger and his sidekick Tonto. The film was released the same year as '' Kahdeksas Veljes'' and '' Saatanan Radikaalit'' (which Spede only produced). None of the films were box-office successes leading Spede to not release any movies the following year. Regardless, Spede won a joint producer's Jussi Award for his efforts. Based on the film, a remake by the same name directed and starring Andrei Alén will be released in 2022. Synopsis The Lonely Rider (Loiri) and his Indian sidekick Tonto (Sal ...

Violin
The violin, sometimes known as a ''fiddle'', is a wooden chordophone (string instrument) in the violin family. Most violins have a hollow wooden body. It is the smallest and thus highest-pitched instrument (soprano) in the family in regular use. The violin typically has four strings (music), strings (some can have five-string violin, five), usually tuned in perfect fifths with notes G3, D4, A4, E5, and is most commonly played by drawing a bow (music), bow across its strings. It can also be played by plucking the strings with the fingers (pizzicato) and, in specialized cases, by striking the strings with the wooden side of the bow (col legno). Violins are important instruments in a wide variety of musical genres. They are most prominent in the Western classical music, Western classical tradition, both in ensembles (from chamber music to orchestras) and as solo instruments. Violins are also important in many varieties of folk music, including country music, bluegrass music, and ...

She is part of the cast who appear in all Uuno Turhapuro films and TV series. The exception being ''Uuno Turhapuron veli'', where the main character Uuno Turhapuro played by Vesa-Matti Loiri did not appear. Uuno debuted in 1973 in a sketch on the ''Spede Show'', as half of a still nameless couple who had a premature argument about how to use their lottery money. (This sketch was recycled in the film ''Rautakauppias Uuno Turhapuro - presidentin vävy''.) Elisabeth Turhapuro is only daughter of Councillor Tuura, the richest man in Finland, and the sharp, fiery and snapping wife of Uuno who has no sense of humor and often gets into arguments with him.
