Uttam Dhillon
Uttam Anthony Singh Dhillon (born September 4, 1960) is an American attorney and law enforcement official. He served as Acting Administrator of the Drug Enforcement Administration from July 2, 2018, to May 18, 2020. He is married to Janet Dhillon, a former commissioner of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Early life and education Dhillon was born in El Centro, California. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from California State University, Sacramento, a Master of Arts in psychology from the University of California, San Diego, and a Juris Doctor from the UC Berkeley School of Law. Career From 1990 to 1997, Dhillon served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Los Angeles, where he prosecuted major narcotics cases.
