State Route 165 is a state highway in the U.S. state of Utah. Spanning in Cache County, it connects the towns of Paradise, Hyrum, and Nibley with the city of Logan to the north. Route description The route's southern end is in the town of Paradise in the southeast corner of the Cache Valley. Starting in the center of the town at the intersection of Bridger Boulevard and 9100 South, the route travels west for two blocks before turning north along 200 West. The route leaves Paradise, continuing in a northerly direction along the eastern part of the valley, passing through the city of Hyrum as 800 West, through the city of Nibley as Nibley Road, before merging with US-89/ US-91 as Main Street just south of the center of Logan, the county seat and largest city in Cache County. Cache Valley
Cache Valley is a valley of northern Utah and southeast Idaho, United States, that includes the Logan metropolitan area. The valley was used by 19th century mountain men and was the site of the 1863 Bear River Massacre. The name, Cache Valley is often used synonymously to describe the Logan Metropolitan Area, one of the fastest growing metro areas in the US per capita — both in terms of economic GDP and population. Liberty, Utah
Liberty is a census-designated place in Weber County, Utah, United States. The population was 1,257 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Ogden– Clearfield, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area, as well as the Ogden Valley census county division. Geography Liberty lies in the northwestern Ogden Valley of the Wasatch Range, approximately across the North Ogden Divide and east of North Ogden and northwest of Eden. Utah State Route 158 is a state highway in the U.S. state of Utah. Spanning , it connects Powder Mountain Ski Resort and the towns of Liberty and Eden with Utah State Route 39 in Ogden Canyon in Weber County. A portion of the road is designated as part of the Ogden River Scenic Byway. Route description State Route 158 begins at Eden Junction, its intersection with SR-39 at the Pineview Dam which is at the top of Ogden Canyon. From this point, it travels north across the dam and follows the shore of Pineview Reservoir to the northeast, eventually turning to the north. Avon is a census-designated place (CDP) in Cache County, Utah, United States. The population was 367 at the 2010 census. It is included in the Logan, Utah-Idaho (partial) Metropolitan Statistical Area. Avon is the birthplace of Reuben D. Law, first president of the Church College of Hawaii, later renamed Brigham Young University–Hawaii. History The first white settlement at Avon was made in 1860. U.S. Route 91 or U.S. Highway 91 (US-91) is a north–south United States highway running from Brigham City, Utah, to Idaho Falls, Idaho, in the U.S. states of Idaho and Utah. Despite the "1" as the last digit in the number, US-91 is no longer a cross-country artery, as it has mostly been replaced by Interstate 15. The highway currently serves to connect the communities of the Cache Valley to I-15 and beyond. U.S. Route 89 (US 89) in the U.S. state of Utah is a north-south United States Highway spanning more than through the central part of the state, making it the longest road in Utah. Between Provo and Brigham City, US-89 serves as a local road, paralleling (and occasionally concurring with) Interstate 15, but the portions from Arizona north to Provo and Brigham City northeast to Wyoming serve separate corridors. The former provides access to several national parks and Arizona, and the latter connects I-15 with Logan, the state's only Metropolitan Statistical Area not on the Interstate. Logan is a city in Cache County, Utah, United States. The 2020 census recorded the population was 52,778. Logan is the county seat of Cache County and the principal city of the Logan metropolitan area, which includes Cache County and Franklin County, Idaho. Nibley is a city in Cache County, Utah, United States. Incorporated in 1935, it was named after Charles W. Nibley, a leader in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Cache County ( ) is a county located in the Wasatch Front region of Utah. As of the 2020 United States Census the population was 133,154. Its county seat and largest city is Logan.
