''USA'' is a live album by the English band King Crimson, released in 1975. It was recorded at the Casino, Asbury Park, New Jersey, on 28 June 1974, except “21st Century Schizoid Man”, which was recorded at the Palace Theatre, Providence, Rhode Island, United States, on 30 June 1974. Violin and electric piano overdubs by Eddie Jobson were recorded at Olympic Studios, London in 1975. Live recording was performed by George Chkiantz and David Hewitt using the Record Plant Remote Truck. “Asbury Park” and “Easy Money” were edited to about half their original lengths for the LP release. The unedited versions were released digitally on dgmlive.com in 2005, along with the rest of the show in original running order. is an area of the city of Tosa, Kōchi Prefecture, Japan. Usa is famous for the exquisite Usa beach, Niyodo surfing and paragliding spots, tranquility of the town by the Pacific Ocean and as a home for the world famous Usa Marine Biological Institute. Usa attracts a large number of international tourists annually as a destination to feel the rustic Japanese life-style in a classy fishing village. History Usa was an independent town until 1958 when the town was merged with the town of Takaoka and a village forming the town of Takaoka, Takaoka District. Takaoka was promoted to city status and its name changed to Tosa in 1959. Geography Usa comprises the mouth part of the Uranouchi inlet of the Pacific Ocean. It is the most famous fishing harbor in Kōchi Prefecture and an important tourist destination. United Soccer Association
The United Soccer Association was a professional soccer league featuring teams based in the United States and Canada. The league survived only one season before merging with the National Professional Soccer League to form the North American Soccer League. Every team in the league was actually an imported European or South America club, that was then outfitted with a "local" name. Dick Walsh served as the commissioner. Origins In 1966 a group of sports entrepreneurs, led by Jack Kent Cooke and including Lamar Hunt and Steve Stavro, formed a consortium known as the North American Soccer League with the intention of forming a professional soccer league in North America. This group was subsequently sanctioned by both the USSFA and FIFA. However a rival consortium known as the National Professional Soccer League also emerged and to avoid confusion Cooke renamed his consortium the United Soccer Association. Union Sportive Arlequins Perpignanais, also referred to as USA Perpignan or Perpignan, is a French professional rugby union club founded in 1933 and based in Perpignan, in the Pyrénées-Orientales department. They compete in the Top 14, France's elite division of rugby. The club is a result of a merger between US Perpignan and Arlequins Perpignanais in 1933. "U-S-A!" is a chant of the United States of America's initials popular in expressing American pride and supporting American national sports teams. It is also used in other community events, such as at political rallies. Origins The first documented usage of a U-S-A chant was in 1918 at a Bethlehem Steel plant in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Use in sports The film '' Olympia: Festival of Nations'', documenting the 1936 Summer Olympics, includes the chant during the finals of the 1,500 meter event and the long jump. It was also documented at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Germany, during the basketball tournament final between the United States and the Soviet Union. In 1979, the chant was used in Budapest when the national men's teams of Hungary and the United States played against each other.
