Uroš Kovačević
Uroš Kovačević ( sr-cyrl, Урош Ковачевић; born 6 May 1993) is a Serbian professional volleyball player. He is a member of the Serbia national team. The two–time European Champion ( 2011, 2019), and the 2016 World League winner. At the professional club level, he plays for Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie. Personal life He has two older brothers: Savo and Nikola (born 1983). Nikola is also a professional volleyball player. National team Kovačević is a gold medallist at the 2011 European Championship. In 2011, Kovačević was granted an award by the Olympic Committee of Serbia for the best young athlete. He was a member of the national team at the Olympic Games London 2012. On 19 July 2015, the Serbian national volleyball team reached the World League final, but eventually lost to France (0–3), and obtained silver medals. Kraljevo
Kraljevo ( sr-cyr, Краљево, ) is a city and the administrative center of the Raška District in central Serbia. It is situated on the confluence of West Morava and Ibar, in the geographical region of Šumadija, between the mountains of Kotlenik in the north, and Stolovi in the south. In 2011 the city urban area has a population of 68,749 inhabitants, while the city administrative area has 125,488 inhabitants. 2017 Men's European Volleyball Championship
The 2017 Men's European Volleyball Championship was the 30th edition of the Men's European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the CEV. The tournament was held in Poland between 24 August and 3 September. Russia defeated Germany in the final to capture a record 14th title in the tournament. Serbia defeated Belgium for the bronze medal. Maxim Mikhaylov from Russia was elected the MVP. The CEV Cup is the second tier official competition for men's Volleyball clubs of Europe. The competition takes place every year. Until 2000, it was the CEV Cup Winners' Cup. 2016 Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship
The 2016 Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship was the 17th staging of the AVC Club Championships. The tournament was held in Naypyidaw, Myanmar from 23 to 31 August 2016. The champions qualified for the 2017 Club World Championship as Asia's representative. Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship
The Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship, previously the AVC Cup Men's Club Tournament (between 1999–2002), is an annual continental club volleyball competition organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), the sport's continental governing body. The competition was first contested in 1999 in China. It was not held in 2003 and 2020 due to 2002–2004 SARS outbreak and COVID-19 pandemic respectively. The winner of the Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship qualifies for the FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship. 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship
The 2018 FIVB Men's Club World Championship was the 14th edition of the tournament. It was held in Poland for the second straight time from 26 November to 2 December 2018. Eight teams competed in the tournament, including four wild cards. In an all-Italian final Trentino Volley defeated Cucine Lube Civitanova and won the title for the fifth time. FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship
The FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship is an international men's club volleyball competition organised by the '' Fédération Internationale de Volleyball'' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The competition was first contested in 1989 in Italy. It was not held between 1993 and 2008, but since 2009, the competition has been held every year, and has been hosted by Qatar and Brazil except in 2017 and 2018 where both hosted by Poland. France Men's National Volleyball Team
The France national men's volleyball team represents the country in international competitions and friendly matches. It was the reigning European Champion in 2015 and is ranked 2nd (as of 25th July 2022) in the FIVB world ranking. France have been competing in the World League ever since the inaugural edition in 1990 and continuously since 1999. In 2006 they finished second to Brazil but had their share of disappointment in subsequent seasons. In 2009 they narrowly missed making the Final Six, falling at the last hurdle to Slovenia.
