Uroš Janković
Uroš Janković ( sr-cyr, Урош Јанковић; born 24 September 1979) is a politician in Serbia. He was the deputy mayor of the Belgrade municipality of Čukarica from 2012 to 2014. He was convicted of fraud in 2019, although this conviction was overturned the following year and a new trial ordered. Janković is a member of the Democratic Party of Serbia (''Demokratska stranka Srbije'', DSS). Early life and private career Janković was born in Belgrade, in what was then the Socialist Republic of Serbia in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. He was raised in Banovo Brdo in Čukarica and graduated from the Business School of Vocational Studies in Belgrade. He participated in military service in Kosovo and Metohija in 1998–99, during the period of the Kosovo War. After returning to Belgrade, he founded a production company. Vladimir Stojković
Vladimir Stojković (, ; born 28 July 1983) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays for Saudi club Al-Fayha as a goalkeeper. During his career he played for the two biggest clubs in his country, Red Star and Partizan, but also represented teams in eight other countries, notably with Sporting CP who loaned him several times for the duration of his contract. Makiš
Makiš ( sr, Макиш) is a forest and an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Čukarica. Location Makiš is bordered by the Sava river and Sava Lake to the west and north, Čukarica and Čukarička Padina to the northeast, Julino Brdo, Žarkovo, Bele Vode and Rupčine to the east, Železnik to the south and Ostružnica to the southwest. Geography For the most part, Makiš is a marshy forest, crossed by many small streams and canals, most notably the ''Marevica''. Dr. Sanda Rašković Ivić ( sr-cyrl, Санда Рашковић Ивић, ; born 8 January 1956) is a Serbian psychiatrist, psychotherapist and politician. From 2014 to 2016, she was the president of the Democratic Party of Serbia. She was commissioner for refugees, the president of Coordination Center for Kosovo and Metohija, Serbian ambassador to Italy and a member of the Serbian Parliament. 2016 Serbian Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Serbia on 24 April 2016. Initially, the election were originally due to be held by March 2018, but on 17 January 2016 Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić called for a snap election claiming Serbia "needs four more years of stability so that it is ready to join the European Union". The elections were held simultaneously with provincial elections in Vojvodina and nationwide local elections. Voter turnout was 56%. Vučić's Serbian Progressive Party-led coalition retained its majority, winning 131 of the 250 seats. In contrast to the 2014 elections, a record-breaking seven non-minority lists passed the 5% threshold. The Serbian Movement "Dveri" ( sr-Cyr, Српски покрет Двери, Srpski pokret Dveri), commonly just known as Dveri (), is a nationalist and right-wing populist political party in Serbia. It its currently led by Boško Obradović, who is one of the co-founders of the party. Formed as a youth-orientated political organization in 1999, it published an eponymous student magazine that promoted clerical and nationalist content. Through the 2000s, it operated as a non-governmental organization that campaigned in favor of Christian right views, that included opposition to abortion and opposition to gay rights. 2016 Serbian Local Elections
Local elections were held in most cities and municipalities of Serbia (excluding the disputed territory of Kosovo) on 24 April 2016, with repeat voting later taking place in some jurisdictions. The elections were held concurrently with the 2016 Serbian parliamentary election and the 2016 Vojvodina provincial election. Elections were not held for the City Assembly of Belgrade, as its members were elected on a different four-year cycle (although local assembly elections were held in the City of Belgrade's constituent municipalities).
