''Urena'' is the genus of plants, which grow in various tropical and subtropical areas worldwide. Some view the plant as a weed, but others make use of its fiber for various purposes. The leaves and flowers are also a famine food in Africa. Its seeds are spread by animals. Fibers obtained from it are used for making coffee sacks in Brazil. José Miguel Ureña Rodriguez (born September 12, 1991) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Colorado Rockies of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played MLB for the Miami Marlins, Detroit Tigers, and Milwaukee Brewers. Career Minor leagues Ureña grew up in the Dominican Republic. The Marlins signed him on August 28, 2009, and he played for two seasons with the Dominican Summer League Marlins. Rodrigo Andrés Ureña Reyes (born 1 March 1993) is a Chilean footballer who plays for Peruvian Liga 1 club Universitario de Deportes as a midfielder. Leopoldo Enrique García-Alas y Ureña (25 April 1852 – 13 June 1901), also known as Clarín, was a Spanish realist novelist born in Zamora.
