Upper South Carolina State Fair
The Upper SC State Fair is a country fair that has been held annually from 1964 to 2019, paused into 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and resuming in 2021 at the Greenville-Pickens Speedway between Greenville, South Carolina and Easley, South Carolina. It features many different types of rides, food, games, and entertainment. The first spring fair was held in 2023. The Upper SC State Fair has been known to bring top national acts to the fair over the years and recently has opened their stages to local acts. Greenville-Pickens Speedway
Greenville-Pickens Speedway is a race track located in Easley, South Carolina, just west of Greenville, South Carolina. The track hosted weekly NASCAR sanctioned races. Several NASCAR touring series have raced at the track in prior years, including the Whelen Southern Modified Tour and the NASCAR Grand National Division. Easley, South Carolina
Easley is a city in Pickens County (with parts extending into Anderson County) in the State of South Carolina. Most of the city lies in Pickens County, with a small portion of the city in Anderson County. In 2001, Easley hosted the Big League World Series for the first time, and continued to host the tournament annually until it was disbanded in 2016. In 2017, the Senior League World Series moved to Easley as the host for the annual tournament. The Pint Station opened in 2018 and continues to serve the greater Easley area today. Silvertide is an American rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. History Originally named Vertigo, Silvertide was formed in January 2001 in Northeast Philadelphia. At first, the band was signed by J Records, and they released their first EP ''American Excess'' in 2002. Their first full album, ''Show and Tell'', was released in 2004 and produced by David Ivory. Charles Edward Daniels (October 28, 1936 – July 6, 2020) was an American singer, musician, and songwriter. His music fused rock, country, blues and jazz, pioneering Southern rock. He was best known for his number-one country hit "The Devil Went Down to Georgia". Much of his output, including all but one of his eight ''Billboard'' Hot 100 charting singles, was credited to the Charlie Daniels Band. Daniels was active as a singer and musician from the 1950s until his death.
