Upper Kurram Tehsil
Upper Kurram Tehsil is a subdivision located in Kurram District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The population is 253,478 according to the 2017 census. History In 2014, Upper Kurram's Assistant Political Agent Maqsood Hassan was arrested by the National Accountability Bureau on corruption charges. In November 2017, a US drone strike was carried out on a house in Ghozgarhy, Upper Kurram. This action was condemned by the Foreign Office. Four people were killed in this strike. Sherzad District
Sherzad is a district in the west of Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan. It has a short (approximately 5 km) stretch of border with Pakistan. Its population, which is 100% Pashtun, was estimated at 66,392 in 2002, of whom 26,500 were children under 12. The district center is the village of Sherzad. Parachinar
Parachinar ( ps, پاړه چنار; ur, ) is a small Pashtun ( Turi and Bangash tribe) town which is the capital of Kurram District in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Parachinar is situated on a neck of Pakistani territory west of Peshawar, that juts into the Paktia, Logar and Nangarhar provinces of Afghanistan. With a distance of from the Afghan capital Kabul, Parachinar is the closest point in Pakistan to Kabul. It is one of two urban areas in Kurram District, the other one being Sadda, and has shrunk considerably in population over the past few decades, becoming the least populous urbanized area in Kohat Division. Paktia (Pashto/Dari: – ''Paktyā'') is one of the 34 provinces of Afghanistan, located in the east of the country. Khost Province
Khost (Pashto/Dari: ) is one of the 34 provinces of Afghanistan, located in the southeastern part of the country. Khost consists of thirteen districts and the city of Khost serves as the capital of the province. Zazi Maidan District ( ps, ځاځي ميدان ولسوالۍ), or Jaji Maidan or Dzadzi Maidan, is located in the northeastern part of Khost Province, Afghanistan.
