"Up from the Ashes" is a song by American rapper Kanye West from the deluxe version of his tenth solo studio album, ''Donda'' (2021). The song was initially intended for West's ninth studio album ''Jesus Is King'' (2019) and previewed during listening parties in September and October 2019. The original track named was "Glade". West's singing on the song has been compared to his fourth studio album ''808s & Heartbreak'' (2008). The song leaked online in February 2020 alongside an alternate version featuring production done by Dr. Dre. Background and recording In 2019, fellow Canadian rapper and song writer Sean Leon had a demo titled "The Glade" under his own artist project. ''Donda'' is the tenth studio album by American rapper Kanye West, released through GOOD Music on August 29, 2021, with distribution handled by Def Jam Recordings, his last release with the label. Fox Theatre (Detroit)
The Fox Theatre is a performing arts center located at 2211 Woodward Avenue in Downtown Detroit, Michigan, near the Grand Circus Park Historic District. Opened in 1928 as a flagship movie palace in the Fox Theatres chain, it was at over 5,000 seats the largest theater in the city. Designed by theater architect C. Howard Crane, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1989 for its architecture. The area surrounding the Fox is nicknamed ''Foxtown''. Donda Stem Player
The Stem Player is an audio remix device and music streaming platform developed by British technology company Kano Computing in collaboration with American artist Kanye West. The device was launched in August 2021 in conjunction with the release of West's 10th studio album '' Donda''. The Stem Player has four touch-sensitive haptic sliders that adjust individual stems for tracks, and six hardware buttons for volume and effects. The device's service uses artificial intelligence to split tracks into four stems (sometimes isolated vocals, bass, and drums) with each track being able to be manipulated using a front slider. Users can add tracks to the device by uploading an audio file to the device through an official online web application.
