Unto Kullervo Korhonen (born. 10 May 1931) is a Finnish diplomat, a Licentiate of Technics. Unto Mononen
Unto Uuno Mononen (23 October 1930 in Muolaa – 28 June 1968 in Somero) was a Finnish songwriter and musician. He is best known for his numerous tango compositions including the famous Finnish tango song, ''" Satumaa".'' His first name was originally Uuno. Biography Mononen is often said to come from Somero, but was actually from Muolaa and did not come to Somero until the Second World War was over and Muolaa was conquered by the Soviet Union. Mononen studied church music in the University of Turku. He quit these studies since he felt he did not learn anything important. As a composer he was self-taught. Mononen began his musical career by singing with local dance groups while he was under 20. After a failed operation to his adenoids damaged his voice, Mononen started to compose. Unto Ojonen (23 August 1909 Lahti – 12 October 1997 Lahti) was a Finnish architect. His most notable work is from the 1950s and the 1960s. Many of the buildings he designed are in Päijät-Häme, most of those in Lahti. His career lasted over 40 years. Unto Wiitala
Unto Mauri Wiitala (5 July 1925 – 16 January 2019) was a Finnish professional ice hockey player who played in the SM-liiga. Born in Kuolemajärvi, Finland, he played for Hämeenlinnan Tarmo before working as a referee and hockey executive. He competed at the 1952 Winter Olympics with Team Finland and five Ice Hockey World Championships. Wiitala was inducted into the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame in 1985 and became the first Finnish referee ever inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame. The Finnish Liiga honored him by naming their best referee during the regular season award in his name. Career Wiitala began his professional career playing for Karhu-Kissat in 1946. In 1952, he was selected to represent Finland at the 1952 Winter Olympics where they placed fifth. His career ended with him being awarded the best goalkeeper award three times by 1956.
