''Until Next Spring'' (russian: До будущей весны) is a 1960 Soviet drama film directed by Viktor Sokolov. Plot The film tells about the student of the institute who is deceived by her close person. This led to the fact that she became suspicious of the people around her and, as a result, she decided to leave the institute and go with her daughter to the village, where she met a high school teacher, Alexei Nikolayevich, an exceptionally kind and sympathetic person who helped her change her views on life for the better. Nadezhda Simonyan (February 26, 1922 - June 7, 1997) was a Russian composer who wrote over 40 film scores for movies, radio, and television, as well as chamber and orchestral works, and music for circus performances. Simonyan was born in Rostov-on-the-Don. She studied composition and piano at Leningrad Conservatory, where she received a diploma in 1950 and earned a medal. Her teachers included Oles Chishko and Venedikt Pushkov. In 1956, Simonyan wrote her first film soundtrack for ''Old Man Khottabych'', a children’s film by Gennadii Kazanskii. Semyon Pavlovich Ivanov (russian: Семён Павлович Иванов; 13 September 1907 – 26 September 1993) was a Soviet general. Hero of the Soviet Union (1945). Biography Early life Ivanov was born to a peasants' family. He began working in railroad maintenance at the age of twelve, while continuing to study during his spare time. He volunteered for the Red Army in 1926 and was sent to the 1st Infantry School in Moscow. After he graduated in 1929, he was given command of a platoon in the 16th Infantry Division. He joined the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) in the same year. In 1936, Ivanov was sent to the Frunze Military Academy.
