Uno (2005 Film)
''Uno'' is a 2005 Filipino action thriller film directed by Ronnie Ricketts (as Ronn-Rick) and co-written by Ricketts, Lito N. Mena and Ricardo Cepeda. About an assassin intending to retire who finds himself the target of another assassin, it stars Ricketts and Monsour del Rosario alongside Danica Sotto, Cheska Garcia, Dinky Doo, Erica Fuente, Boy Roque, T.J. Trinidad and Cepeda. Produced by Ricketts' production company Rocketts Productions, it was given a limited theatrical release on January 19, 2005. The film is noted for being one of the few action films produced by the Philippine film industry in the mid-to-late 2000s. Ronald Naldo Ricketts, popularly known as Ronnie Ricketts, is a Filipino actor, scriptwriter, film director, line producer, and martial artist who is the former President of the Philippine Film Actors Guild, and former Chairman of Optical Media Board (OMB), a government agency that regulates recording optical media in the Philippines. Film career Ronnie Ricketts is a martial artist and was a ramp model before he entered the movie industry in the early 1980s. He was first noticed by RVQ's ( Dolphy) film production as a potential action star. ''Assassins'' is a 1995 American action thriller film directed by Richard Donner. The screenplay was written by The Wachowskis and Brian Helgeland.
