Unleashed Music is a Los Angeles-based marketing, management, label services and publishing consultancy, as well as an independent record label. Company history Unleashed Music was formed in New York City by musician and entrepreneur, Geordie Gillespie. It originated in 1988 as the publishing division of Dog Brothers Records, to administer the music of Konk (band). In 2006, after 20 years of major label experience, Gillespie sought to expand the company's vision. The goal was to anticipate and utilize new media trends, platforms and strategies, while creating strong and equitable partnerships to develop artists' careers. Venice is a neighborhood of the city of Los Angeles within the Westside region of Los Angeles County, California. Venice was founded by Abbot Kinney in 1905 as a seaside resort town. It was an independent city until 1926, when it was annexed by Los Angeles. Ruby (British Band)
Ruby is a Scottish electronic music act that was formed as a collaboration between singer Lesley Rankine and multi-instrumentalist Mark Walk in 1994, and is now positioned as a solo vehicle for Rankine. Ruby's sound includes electronic, trip hop, noise, industrial, and jazz, among others. Rankine and Walk named the group Ruby after learning that this was the name of both their maternal grandmothers. Iyeoka Okoawo () (born April 28, 1975) is an American singer and poet (of Nigerian heritage), recording artist, singer, activist, educator and TEDGlobal Fellow. Her music includes elements from soul, R&B, rock, hip hop, and jazz. Early life Iyeoka Okoawo was a practicing pharmacist before launching her musical career. Her family is from Nigeria but she was born in Boston and is proud to be American. Delta Spirit
Delta Spirit is an American rock band from California, United States. The group consists of Jonathan Jameson (bass), Brandon Young (drums), Matthew Vasquez (vocals and guitars), Kelly Winrich (multi-instrumentalist), and William McLaren (guitar). History Founded in San Diego in 2005, Jameson and Young, who had played with each other in many bands, decided to form a band with their new friend Matthew Logan Vasquez. Young first spotted Vasquez busking on a bench in San Diego at two in the morning, and the two exchanged information. Delta Spirit recorded their ''I Think I've Found It'' EP at Winrich's home studio, and he joined the band within the first year. Chris Shinn (born August 1, 1974) is an American singer, songwriter and musician. From March 2012 to December 2016, he was the lead singer of the band Live. He was previously the lead singer of the band Unified Theory. He is the son of former Charlotte Hornets owner, George Shinn. Unified Theory Beginnings Unified Theory began to form in early 1998.
