Universal Channel
Universal TV, formerly Universal Channel, is an international pay television network specializing in movies and television series in the thriller, drama, comedy, horror, crime and investigation genres, owned by NBCUniversal International Networks, a division of NBCUniversal and available on satellite and cable platforms. They were formerly branded as USA Network until 2003 when the name was changed to take more advantage of the Universal branding, but continue programming as that network does like a general interest network. Launched in other countries Original launch Universal Channel was officially launched on 1 December 2007 in Poland (as ''Kanał Universal'') and Romania (as ''Canalul Universal'') and on 1 July 2008 in Southeast Asia. 13th Street Universal
13th Street (France: 13ème Rue, Spain: Calle 13, Hungary: Utca 13, and Poland: 13 Ulica) is a television channel specializing in Action film, action, suspense and police procedural programs and movies, mainly from the Universal Pictures and Universal Television, Television libraries. It is owned by NBCUniversal and was inaugurated in France in 1997, quickly adding local versions across Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Russia. The channel changed its name to ''13th Street Universal'' on 13 October 2010. The additional "Universal" notation was dropped in March 2017 as part of a reimage effort. Local versions of the network began to shut down in the mid-2010s in deference to streaming services, including NBCUniversal's own Hayu (service), Hayu. Thriller is a genre of fiction, having numerous, often overlapping subgenres. Thrillers are characterized and defined by the mood (psychology), moods they elicit, giving viewers heightened feelings of suspense, Psychomotor agitation, excitement, Surprise (emotion), surprise, anticipation (emotion), anticipation and anxiety. Globosat
Globosat, was a Brazilian pay television content service, part of Grupo Globo. Established in 1991, after the creation of subscription television services in Brazil, with 29 channels and over 1,000 employees, it is the largest pay television content provider in Brazil, as well as of Latin America, comprising a domestic audience of 45 million viewers distributed among more than 15 million households. The Fox Broadcasting Company, commonly known simply as Fox and stylized in all caps as FOX, is an American commercial broadcast television network owned by Fox Corporation and headquartered in New York City, with master control operations and additional offices at the Fox Network Center in Los Angeles and the Fox Media Center in Tempe. USA Network (simply USA) is an American basic cable television channel owned by the NBCUniversal Television and Streaming division of Comcast's NBCUniversal through NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment.
