Universal Beijing Resort
The Universal Beijing Resort (), commonly known as Universal Beijing, is a theme park and entertainment resort complex based in Beijing, China. Invite-only test operation started on September 1, 2021, and the full operation started from September 20, 2021. The resort is operated by Universal Parks & Resorts. It is owned by NBCUniversal, a division of Comcast, and Beijing Shouhuan Cultural Tourism Investment. Once completed, Universal Beijing Resort will consist of two theme parks (Universal Studios Beijing and a second planned theme park), a water park, a shopping, dining and entertainment complex (Universal CityWalk Beijing), and six hotels. Wenjing Subdistrict
Wenjing Subdistrict () is a subdistrict situated within Tongzhou District, Beijing. It borders Liyuan Town and Linheli Subdistrict to its north, Zhangjiawan Town to its east, Taihu Subdistrict to its south, and Heizhuanghu Township to its west. Wenjing Subdistrict was created from part of Taihu Subdistrict in 2020. Batong Line
The Batong Line of the Beijing Subway () is an east–west rapid transit line in eastern Beijing. It extends Line 1 further east from in Chaoyang District to in Tongzhou District. Through operation with Line 1 started on August 29, 2021. The Batong Line derives its name by combining the first character of Bawangfen (), another name for Sihui, and Tongzhou (), the eastern suburban district of Beijing which the line serves. The Batong Line is mainly above ground with only 3.8 km section is underground and runs from the in the west to in the east. The colour of the Batong Line that is shown on maps, like that of Line 1, is red. The line tends to be very crowded during rush hour.
