USA Basketball
USA Basketball (USAB) is a non-profit organization and the governing body for basketball in the United States. The organization represents the United States in FIBA and the men's and women's national basketball teams in the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee. Its chairman of the board is retired General Martin Dempsey and its CEO is Jim Tooley. The organization was founded in 1974 as the Amateur Basketball Association of the United States of America (ABAUSA). It was renamed USA Basketball on October 12, 1989, after FIBA modified its rules to allow NBA basketball players to compete in international competitions (professionals from Europe and South America were always allowed to compete). Kareem Maddox
Kareem Maddox (born December 9, 1989) is an American former professional basketball player and member of the United States men's national 3x3 team. He played college basketball at Princeton. College career Maddox played college basketball at Princeton. During the 2010–11 season in his senior year he led the team in blocks with 52, ranked third in the Ivy League in blocked shots at 1.7 per game, fourth in defensive rebounds at 5.0 per game, and fourth in overall rebounds at 6.9 per game, and averaged 14.0 points per game. He became the second Princeton player to have 50 blocks in a season, following Chris Young in 2001, since blocks began being kept as a stat. He had seven 20-point games and was the first Tiger since 1984 to have two 30-point games in a season. Myke Henry
Mycheal Henry (born December 23, 1992) is an American professional basketball player for Libertadores de Querétaro of the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional (LNBP). He played college basketball for Illinois Fighting Illini men's basketball, Illinois and DePaul University. College career Henry began his college career at University of Illinois where he was recruited by Bruce Weber (basketball), Bruce Weber. After his freshman year Weber was fired, and new head coach John Groce used Henry sparingly as a sophomore which contributed to his decision to transfer to DePaul. Stefhon L. Hannah (born June 14, 1985) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Delaware 87ers of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for Chipola College and Missouri. Jitim Young
Jitim Young (born December 19, 1981) is an American basketball player. Young attended Northwestern University and was famous for his play at the collegiate level and as an All-American at Gordon Tech High School. High school career Young attended Chicago's Gordon Technical High School, where he averaged 23 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists per game. He led Gordon Tech into the Illinois state tournament his senior year of 1999-2000 where they advanced to the Elite 8 but were eventually defeated by West Aurora, the eventual state champions. Craig Moore (born September 8, 1987) is an American basketball player who is currently a member of Princeton 3x3 in the FIBA 3x3 World Tour. High school Moore was a four-year letter winner and was team captain his senior at the Lawrenceville School in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. He finished his prep career with 171 3-pointers and earned all-state honors following his sophomore and junior years. College career Moore played college basketball at Northwestern University from 2005 to 2009. 2014 FIBA 3x3 World Championships
The 2014 FIBA 3x3 World Championships, hosted by Russia, was an international 3x3 basketball event that feature separate competitions for men's and women's national teams. The tournament was run from 5 June to 8 June 2014 in Moscow. It is co-organized by the FIBA. Qatar won their first title after defeating the defending champions Serbia 18–13 in the men's final. In the women's it was the defending champions USA that defeated Russia 15-8.
