Myke Henry
Mycheal Henry (born December 23, 1992) is an American professional basketball player for Libertadores de Querétaro of the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional (LNBP). He played college basketball for Illinois Fighting Illini men's basketball, Illinois and DePaul University. College career Henry began his college career at University of Illinois where he was recruited by Bruce Weber (basketball), Bruce Weber. After his freshman year Weber was fired, and new head coach John Groce used Henry sparingly as a sophomore which contributed to his decision to transfer to DePaul. At DePaul, Henry scored a career high 29 points against Stanford Cardinal men's basketball, Stanford on November 30, 2014. John Groce
John Gordon Groce (; born September 7, 1971) is an American college basketball coach, currently the head coach for the Akron Zips men's basketball team. Prior to coaching for Akron, he was the head coach at Illinois and Ohio. Coaching career Player and assistant coach Groce graduated from Taylor University, an NAIA Division II school in Upland, Indiana, in 1994 and played basketball for the school while he was there. Groce started his coaching career as an assistant with his alma mater, Taylor University, under Paul Patterson from 1993 to 1996. His next job was an assistant at North Carolina State under Herb Sendek from 1996 to 2000. He then moved on to Butler as an assistant to Thad Matta and was there just one season (2000–01). Bruce Brett Weber (born October 19, 1956) is the former men's basketball head coach at Kansas State University. Prior to his tenure at Kansas State, Weber was the head coach at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Southern Illinois University and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, University of Illinois. Weber won conference championships and conference coach of the year awards at each of the three schools where he served as head coach.
