DJIA
The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), Dow Jones, or simply the Dow (), is a stock market index of 30 prominent companies listed on stock exchanges in the United States. The DJIA is one of the oldest and most commonly followed equity indexes. Many professionals consider it to be an inadequate representation of the overall U.S. stock market compared to a broader market index such as the S&P 500. The DJIA includes only 30 large companies. It is price-weighted, unlike stock indices which use market capitalization. Furthermore, the DJIA does not use a weighted arithmetic mean. The value of the index can also be calculated as the sum of the stock prices of the companies included in the index, divided by a factor which is currently () approximately 0.152. The factor is changed whenever a constituent company undergoes a stock split so that the value of the index is unaffected by the stock split. First calculated on May 26, 1896, the index is the second-oldest among U.S. market in ...

Fortune Global 500
The ''Fortune'' Global 500, also known as Global 500, is an annual ranking of the top 500 corporations worldwide as measured by revenue. The list is compiled and published annually by ''Fortune'' magazine. Methodology Until 1989, it listed only non-United States industrial corporations under the title "International 500" while the ''Fortune'' 500 contained and still contains exclusively United States corporations. In 1990, United States companies were added to compile a truly global list of top industrial corporations as ranked by sales. Since 1995, the list has had its current form, listing also top financial corporations and service providers by revenue. Several inconsistencies exist in ''Fortune'' ranking of cities with the most ''Fortune'' 500 headquarters. On June 3, 2011, the ''Atlanta Business Chronicle'' stated examples of ''Fortune'' including regional headquarters for some cities, excluding regional headquarters for other cities and in some cases excluding headquarte ...

S&P 100
The S&P 100 Index is a stock market index of United States stocks maintained by Standard & Poor's. Index options on the S&P 100 are traded with the ticker symbol "OEX". Because of the popularity of these options, investors often refer to the index by its ticker symbol. The S&P 100, a subset of the S&P 500, includes 101 (because one of its component companies has 2 classes of stock) leading U.S. stocks with exchange-listed options. Constituents of the S&P 100 are selected for sector balance and represent about 67% of the market capitalization of the S&P 500 and almost 54% of the market capitalization of the U.S. equity markets as of December 2020. The stocks in the S&P 100 tend to be the largest and most established companies in the S&P 500. History In 1983, the CBOE created the first index options, based on its own index, the CBOE 100. In 1993, CBOE created the Chicago Board Options Exchange Market Volatility Index (VIX), which was computed based on the price of S&P 100 options ...

GeoAccess
GeoAccess, Inc. was a company that pioneered the use of geographic data to analyze the accessibility of health care networks. By the mid-1990s, GeoAccess-based analysis was the industry standard for measuring the accessibility of health care networks. History GeoAccess was founded in 1990 by Stu Bauman and Tom Lauerman, who both previously consulted for Tillinghast, a Towers Perrin company. The company was headquartered in Lenexa, Kansas.
