Union Royale Namur
Union Namur, commonly known as UR Namur or Union Royale Namur, is a Belgian football club from the city of Namur. It plays in the third amateur division. The media simply refer to them as "Les merles." Until 2018, the team was known as UR Namur, however as the team faced relegation from the 2017–18 Belgian Third Amateur Division into the Belgian provincial leagues, the team instead merged with newly promoted Fosses to form Union Royale Namur Fosses-La-Ville and retain its place in the Belgian Third Amateur Division. In 2021-2022 the renamed Union Namur promotes to the Second Amateur Division (4th national level) Ground Stade communal de Namur (City of Namur Stadium). Capacity : about 3 500 (700 seats). Cédric Fauré
Cédric Fauré (born 14 February 1979) is a French former professional footballer who played as a striker. He is currently head-coach of Union Namur in Belgium. Career As a player Born in Toulouse and raised in the Haute-Garonne village Miremont, Fauré played amateur football and worked for a consumer electronics company before making his professional debut with Toulouse FC in 2002. In his first season, he scored 20 goals which made him Ligue 2 top scorer, helping his club win the league and achieve promotion to Ligue 1. The next season, despite not playing very often, he still managed to score 10 goals. He then transferred to En Avant de Guingamp, hoping to get more playing time. At Guingamp, he scored 13 goals in 32 league games in his only season there. Belgian Second Amateur Division
The Belgian Division 2, commonly referred to as simply Tweede Afdeling (in Dutch) or Division 2 (in French) is the fourth-highest division in the Belgian football league system, one level below the Belgian National Division 1. It was created by the Royal Belgian Football Association in 2016, replacing the Belgian Third Division and named ''Belgian Second Amateur Division'' until the 2019–20 before it was renamed due to the negative connotation of the word ''amateur''. 2018–19 Belgian Second Amateur Division
The 2018–19 Belgian Second Amateur Division is the third season of the division in its current format, placed at the fourth-tier of football in Belgium. The division consists of three separate leagues, each containing 16 teams. Leagues A and B consist of teams with a license from the Voetbalfederatie Vlaanderen (VFV, the Flemish/Dutch speaking wing of the Belgian FA), while league C contains teams with a license from the Association des Clubs Francophones de Football (ACFF, the French speaking wing of the RBFA). The Belgian Division 3, commonly referred to as simply Derde Afdeling (in Dutch) or Division 3 (in French) is the fifth-highest division in the Belgian football league system, one level below the Belgian Division 2. It was created by the Royal Belgian Football Association in 2016 as a new layer at the fifth level of the league system, at that time named ''Belgian Third Amateur Division''. The 2017–18 Belgian Third Amateur Division is the second season of the division in its current format, replacing the former Belgian Fourth Division.
