Camillus Union Free School
Camillus Union Free School is a building built in 1912 and 1913 in the Village of Camillus, New York. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991. The original two-story school building has a U-shaped plan. It was designed by architect Eugene Sacket of Syracuse and was constructed in 1912 and 1913. A gymnasium was added in 1928 and an elementary-school wing was added in made in 1965. The original building was largely intact as of 1991, except for the loss of a cupola that was removed after a 1951 fire. The National Register listing includes the original building and the 1928 addition. It was built in 1903-1906 and is a large "T" shaped wood-framed building on a raised foundation of concrete and bluestone. Garrison Union Free School, also referred to as just Garrison School, educates students from kindergarten through eighth grade in the eponymous school district, which covers the hamlet of Garrison and nearby areas of the towns of Philipstown and Putnam Valley in Putnam County, New York, United States. It is located on NY 9D near the center of the hamlet, right across from St. Philip's Church in the Highlands, where it was originally located when established in 1793. Hammondsport Union Free School, also known as Hammondsport Academy and Hammondsport High School, is a historic school building located at Hammondsport in Steuben County, New York. It is a three-story stone structure in the Italianate style. The earliest section was built in 1858 as a private secondary school, Hammondsport Academy. It was converted to a public union school in 1875, and was expanded in three additions over the next 38 years (1891, 1898, and 1913). It served as a school until 1935 and has been used for other public functions, including as the original home of the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum from 1962 to 1994, and for many years as the Hammondsport Public Library and municipal offices. The Rye Neck Union Free School District is the school district created to serve the public education needs of parts of Mamaroneck and Rye, New York. It serves the part of the Village of Mamaroneck that is within the Town of Rye and part of the City of Rye. Rye Neck's district has four schools located on three different campuses, the middle and high schools being attached. Le Roy House And Union Free School
The Le Roy House and Union Free School are located on East Main Street (New York State Route 5) in Le Roy, New York, United States. The house is a stucco-faced stone building in the Greek Revival architectural style. It was originally a land office, expanded in two stages during the 19th century by its builder, Jacob Le Roy, an early settler for whom the village is named. In the rear of the property is the village's first schoolhouse, a stone building from the end of the 19th century. Le Roy expanded the small land office into a large house, with finely decorated interior. After its completion, he hosted the reception following Daniel Webster's second marriage, to one of Le Roy's sisters. Later it served as a residence for educational administrators of both Ingham University and the local public schools. The former Union Free School is located at the end of Conklin Street in New Hamburg, New York, United States. It is a red brick building constructed in the 1870s. For many years it was the only public building in the hamlet. It remained in use as school for over a half a century. Since then it has been converted into a residence. In 1987 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Building The school is at the western edge of a one-acre (4,400 m2) lot at the top of a rise on the northeastern edge of the older section of the city of New Hamburg. It has a view south toward the Wappinger Creek estuary at the Hudson River. The land to the west and north is wooded.
