The Town of Union is located in Rock County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,860 at the 2000 census. The town surrounds the city of Evansville. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 34.1 square miles (88.3 km2), of which, 34.1 square miles (88.2 km2) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km2) of it (0.09%) is water. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there were 1,860 people, 693 households, and 539 families residing in the town. The population density was 54.6 people per square mile (21.1/km2). There were 718 housing units at an average density of 21.1 per square mile (8.1/km2).The racial makeup of the town was 97.47% White, 0.16% African American, 0.22% Native American, 0.70% Asian, 0.43% from other races, and 1.02% from two or more races.
