Uninvited (1999 Film)
''Uninvited'' is a 1999 Italian thriller film directed by Carlo Gabriel Nero, and starring Vanessa Redgrave and Franco Nero. It premiered at the Mar del Plata Film Festival in Argentina on 26 November 1999 before its release in Italy on 19 May 2000. Plot Tony has lusted after Patricia his whole life, ever since high school his yearning never ceased, but he was only ever to appreciate her from a distance. Tony becomes a victim of his own heart when he is named chief suspect to the murder of Patricia, her husband and her children. Carlo Gabriel Redgrave Nero (born Carlo Gabriel Sparanero; 16 September 1969) is an Italian-English screenwriter and film director. Biography The son of actors Franco Nero and Vanessa Redgrave, his maternal half-sisters are actresses Joely Richardson and Natasha Richardson (1963–2009). He is the nephew of actors Corin (1939–2010) and Lynn Redgrave (1943–2010), and cousin to actress Jemma Redgrave. Carlo Nero directed his mother and half-sister Joely in the 2004 film '' The Fever''. Jane Bethel Leslie (August 3, 1929 – November 28, 1999) was an American actress and screenwriter. In her career spanning half a century, she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award and a Laurel Award in 1964, a Tony Award in 1986, and a CableACE Award in 1988. Early years Bethel Leslie was born in New York, New York. Her parents were a lawyer, Warren Leslie, and Jane Leslie, a newspaperwoman. Bethel was a student at Brearley School in New York City. While a 13-year-old student at Brearley School, Leslie was discovered by George Abbott, who cast her in the play ''Snafu'' in 1944.
