Unify Gathering
Unify Gathering is an annual List of Australian music festivals, Australian music festival held in South Gippsland, Victoria (Australia), Victoria, featuring artists of various genres including Rock Music, rock, Metal (music), metal, and Punk Rock, punk. Originally started in 2015 as a two-day music and camping festival, the event expanded to three days in 2017; with attendance increasing from 3,000 in 2015 to 5,000 in 2016, and 7,500 for 2017 and 2018. In 2019, the festival moved to a new location in Tarwin Meadows, 5 minutes away from the previous site at the Tarwin Lower Recreation Reserve. After being forced to cancel the 2021 instalment due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the festival returned in 2022 with an all-Australian lineup. As of October 2022, no announcement has been made regarding a 2023 instalment or the future of the festival. Tarwin Lower, Victoria
Tarwin Lower is a small town located south-east of Melbourne, Australia. It rests on the south bank of the Tarwin River and at the , had a population of 115. History The original settlement is believed to have started at an area called Tarwin Meadows. The area south of Tarwin Lower is still called by this name. Tarwin Lower is on the banks of the Tarwin River. The first major land-holder in the area was George Black. Black leased land from the Bass River through to Cape Liptrap. Black bought the Tarwin Meadows Run in 1851. Several drowning fatalities have occurred over the years, primarily because of the tidal nature of the river. One of the most well-known is that of a young man who drowned in the river many years ago. His gravestone is situated on River Drive just before the roundabout. Thy Art Is Murder is an Australian deathcore band from Blacktown, Sydney, that formed in 2006. The band consists of vocalist Chris "CJ" McMahon, guitarists Sean Delander and Andy Marsh, drummer Jesse Beahler and bassist Kevin Butler. Thy Art Is Murder has released five studio albums since formation. Their 2008 EP ''Infinite Death'', reached position no. 10 on the AIR Charts upon release, and their second full-length album ''Hate'' debuted at no. 35 on the ARIA Charts, making them the first extreme metal band to ever reach the Top 40 of this chart. Make Them Suffer
Make Them Suffer is an Australian metalcore band from Perth, formed in 2008. They are currently signed to Greyscale Records. Their debut studio album '' Neverbloom'' peaked at No. 56 on the ARIA Album charts in June 2012, and showcased the band's earlier mix of metalcore, blackened death metal, and symphonic metal. Its follow-up '' Old Souls'' debuted at No. 30 upon release in May 2015 and displayed the band beginning to transition from death/black metal to a more progressive metalcore sound. Dream On, Dreamer
Dream On, Dreamer was an Australian four piece alternative metalcore band from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, formed in 2009. The band released two EPs and three albums. The first EP ''Set Sail, Armada'' was released on 3 July 2009. Almost a year later, Dream On, Dreamer published the second EP called ''Hope'' on Boomtown Records and Triple Vision Records. After signing contracts with Rise Records and UNFD the band released the debut album '' Heartbound'' in August 2011. Tonight Alive are an Australian Rock music, rock band from Sydney. As of 2018, the band consists of lead vocalist Jenna McDougall, guitarist Jake Hardy, bassist Cameron Adler, and drummer Matty Best. Hand Of Mercy
Hand Of Mercy were an Australian hardcore band from Sydney, formed in 2007. Formerly signed to the UNFD label. Hand of Mercy released three full-length albums, and two EPs, and toured extensively throughout Australia and internationally. History Hand of Mercy formed when guitarist Adam Mclean and friend drummer Josh Zimmer started playing together. The pair advertised for musicians with similar influences and found guitarist Joshua Campiao. At a Parkway Drive show Josh Zimmer met Scott Bird and invited him to audition as a vocalist. Bird then introduced his friend Adam van den Crust, a bassist. For several years Hand of Mercy played at hardcore venues around Sydney, and appeared at youth centres throughout the state. The band was formed in 2008 by frontman Michael Crafter, who is best known as A lifelong Port Adelaide Football Club Member and the former lead vocalist of metalcore bands I Killed the Prom Queen, Carpathian and Bury Your Dead.
