	Unformal Unformal was an Azerbaijani rock band from Baku, performing in Azeri and in English as well. Unformal was founded in 2000 by Rustam Mammadov and Novruz Ismayilov. During the first years of its existence it was known as a hard rock band. In 2001 Unformal won Azerbaijan Rock Award Competition. In 2006 vocalist Delya and electro-guitar performer Looper joined to the band. Since then Unformal changed and now it is an alternative rock band. In March 2007 the single “Sonsuz yol” acclaimed by listeners, becoming the top-ranked song on the Azerbaijani, Ukrainian and Turkish charts. Unformal also took place in national final of Azerbaijan in Eurovision Song Contest 2008 and became second after Elnur Huseynov and Samir Javadzadeh. 	Dilara Kazimova Dilara Kazimova ( az , Dilarə Kazımova ; born 20 May 1984) is an Azerbaijani singer and actress. She represented Azerbaijan in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen with the song " Start a Fire". Career Born in Baku, Kazimova studied vocal arts at the Baku Academy of Music. After graduating, she briefly performed as part of an opera troupe. From the early 2000s, she was a member of the rock band Unformal and later the lead singer for the duo Milk & Kisses. Both bands participated in the Azerbaijani national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest before, with Unformal placing second in the national final in 2008, and Milk & Kisses placing second again in the national final in 2010. 	Samir Javadzadeh Samir Javadzadeh ( az, Samir Cavadzadə pron. ; born 16 April 1980, Baku, Azerbaijan) is an Azerbaijani pop singer. He was selected as the Azerbaijani representative, along with Elnur Hüseynov, to perform at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. They performed " Day After Day" finishing 8th overall. Career Samir Javadzadeh graduated from university with a degree in business in 2002. In 2003, he finished five-year courses in music, specializing in mugham. After serving in the army for a year, he became a member of the pop band ''Sheron'' for the next three years and eventually started pursuing solo career. Originally, Samir Javadzadeh was not named among those who competed to represent Azerbaijan at Eurovision.
