Under The Gun (Fighting Instinct Album)
''Under the Gun'' was Fighting Instinct's second and final work, released on October 28, 2008. Although it was originally an EP consisting of five songs, they released an album issue of the same EP on the very same day, with 4 bonus tracks added to it. Background During 2007-2008 period, the band's Lead Vocalist, TJ Harris had filled in four to five times in live shows for the band Decyfer Down due to reasons which caused their Lead Vocalist, Caleb Oliver, from performing. In late 2008, Harris was asked to join Decyfer Down, while he was already with Fighting Instinct. He claimed in an interview that it was a tough decision for him to say yes. In October 2008, the band announced on their MySpace page that they will be releasing an EP named ''Under the Gun'', consisting of five songs. Along with that, they announced that the band will break up by the end of the year. Fighting Instinct
Fighting Instinct was a Christian rock band formed in Winston-Salem/Greensboro, North Carolina. It was founded by TJ Harris and Dallas Farmer. They played together for several years before they met up with Jason Weekly in the Winston-Salem/Greensboro area. Jason Weekly came up with the band's name. They released their first CD, ''Fighting Instinct'', in mid-2006. The first single off this album, "I Found Forever," was featured on both rock and Christian radio stations. "I Found Forever" rose to No. 31 on the active rock charts with virtually no touring. The band's Christian single, "Back to You", reached No. 5 on the Christian CHR charts. "Back to You" and "Just to Please You" were only released to Christian radio stations. ''Crash'' is the second album by Christian hard rock band Decyfer Down and the first album to feature current lead vocalist TJ Harris. Background On July 7, 2008, Decyfer Down uploaded their first single and title track to their MySpace player. On September 30, 2008, a three track EP titled, "Crash - Digital EP" was released onto iTunes, Amazon, and other digital retailers. The EP contained the songs, "Crash", "Best I Can", and "Now I'm Alive". It was also announced that the band's lead vocalist, Caleb Oliver, had left due to personal reasons.
