Under Siege (2022)
The 2022 Under Siege was a professional wrestling event produced by Impact Wrestling. It took place on May 7, 2022, at Promowest Pavilion at Ovation in Newport, Kentucky, and aired on Impact Plus and YouTube. It was the second event in the Under Siege chronology. The event featured wrestlers from partner promotions New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). 11 matches were contested at the event, including two on the pre-show and one shown as a digital exclusive. In the main event, Josh Alexander defeated Tomohiro Ishii to retain the Impact World Championship. In other prominent matches, The Briscoes (Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe) defeated Violent By Design ( Eric Young and Deaner) to win the Impact World Tag Team Championship, and Ace Austin and Tasha Steelz retained the X Division and Knockouts World Championships respectively, with Austin defeating Trey Miguel, and Steelz defeating Havok. Impact Wrestling (stylized as ''IMPACT! Wrestling''), is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Nashville, Tennessee. It is a subsidiary of Anthem Sports & Entertainment. Quinn Ojinnaka (born April 23, 1984) is an American professional wrestler and former American football player. He is currently signed to Impact Wrestling, where he performs under the ring name Moose, and is a former one-time Impact World Champion. The Impact Knockouts World Championship is a women's professional wrestling world championship owned by Impact Wrestling.
