''Unbreakable – The Greatest Hits Volume 1'' is the first greatest hits album by Irish boy band Westlife. The album was released on 11 November 2002. It was also the band's fourth album to be released as a five-piece and with RCA Records and Sony BMG. The album consists of all of the group's past singles, along with six new songs. Hit single "Flying Without Wings" was re-recorded as a duet with South Korean singer BoA and Mexican singer Cristian Castro, and each respective duet was included on the Asian and Spanish editions of the album respectively. The first single released from the album was "Unbreakable (Westlife song), Unbreakable", a UK number-one single. Westlife
Westlife is an Irish pop vocal group formed in Dublin, Ireland in 1998. The group currently consists of members Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne. Brian McFadden was a member, until he left in 2004. The group temporarily disbanded in 2012 after 14 years of success and later reunited in 2018. The group has released twelve studio albums: four as a five-piece and eight as a four-piece. They rose to fame with their debut international self-titled studio album, '' Westlife'' (1999). Kjell Åke Jörgen Elofsson (born 14 January 1962) is a Swedish songwriter. Per Magnusson (born 30 May 1969) is a Swedish music producer and songwriter. Wayne Anthony Hector is a British songwriter who is best known for his work with pop artists such as Nicki Minaj, One Direction, the Wanted, Toše Proeski and Olly Murs. He co-wrote seven of Westlife's number one singles, including "World of Our Own" and "Flying Without Wings". He is signed to BMG Chrysalis UK.
