It is the first and to date only film directed by the acclaimed French theatre director Pierre Pradinas. The film was shot on location in Paris in the summer of 1988. Plot Al (Francois Cluzet) and Elsa ( Juliette Binoche) have been a couple for some time, but the chances that their relationship will be long-lived are few. Juliette Binoche
Juliette Binoche (; born 9 March 1964) is a French actress and dancer. François Cluzet
François Cluzet (born 21 September 1955) is a French film and theatre actor. Cluzet has collaborated with many important European and American directors, including Claude Chabrol, Bertrand Tavernier, Claire Denis, Agnieszka Holland, Robert Altman and Olivier Assayas. In 2007, he won a French César Award after starring as a doctor suspected of double homicide in thriller ''Tell No One'' (original title ''Ne le dis à personne''). Denis Lavant (born 17 June 1961) is a French actor. He is known for his distinctive face and the physically demanding aspects of the roles he plays, which often involve slapstick, acrobatics or dance, as well as for his long-standing association with director Leos Carax. Lavant has played the lead role in all but two of Carax's films. Lavant is also known for his roles in Claire Denis' ''Beau Travail'', and Harmony Korine's ''Mister Lonely''. Michel Henri Aumont (15 October 1936 – 28 August 2019) was a French theatre, film, and television actor. Throughout his career, he gained four Molière Awards and nominations for three César Awards.
