''Um Lugar ao Sol'' (English title: ''In Your Place'') is a Brazilian telenovela produced and broadcast by TV Globo. It premiered on 8 November 2021, and ended on 25 March 2022. The telenovela is written by Lícia Manzo, with the collaboration of Carla Madeira, Cecília Giannetti, Leonardo Moreira, and Marta Góes. It stars Cauã Reymond, Alinne Moraes, Andreia Horta, Marco Ricca, Andréa Beltrão, and Marieta Severo. The series follows Christian who, after the death of his twin brother Christofer, decides to take his place, leaving behind his great love and identity. Plot In Goiânia, twin brothers Christian and Christofer are born, lose their mother in childbirth and are left with their father Ernani, who, because of his situation, agrees to give one of his children to a rich couple from Rio de Janeiro, marking the separation of both of the twins when they are about to a year old. Telenovela
A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. The significant difference is their series run length; telenovelas tell one self-contained story, typically within the span of a year or less whereas soap operas tend to have intertwined storylines told during indefinite, continuing runs. 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualification (CONMEBOL)
The South American section of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification acted as qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, to be held in Qatar, for national teams which are members of the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL). A total of 4.5 slots (4 direct slots and 1 inter-confederation play-off slot) in the final tournament were available for CONMEBOL teams. The qualification process began on 8 October 2020 and ended on 29 March 2022. Uruguay's Luis Suárez scored the first goal of the round-robin.
