Ulstein is a municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is part of the Sunnmøre region. The commercial and administrative centre of Ulstein is the town of Ulsteinvik. The municipality occupies the western half of the island of Hareidlandet, as well as about 30 smaller islands, four of which are populated. Ulstein is connected to the mainland of Norway by the Eiksund Bridge (to the island of Eika) and then the Eiksund Tunnel to the neighboring municipality of Ørsta. Ulstein Church
Ulstein Church ( no, Ulstein kyrkje) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in the municipality of Ulstein, Møre og Romsdal, Norway. It is located in the town of Ulsteinvik on the western side of the island of Hareidlandet. It is the church for the Ulstein parish which is part of the Søre Sunnmøre prosti ( deanery) in the Diocese of Møre. The white, wooden church was designed in an octagonal design in 1849 using plans drawn up by Hans Nicolai Wraamann, the local parish priest. The church seats about 400 people. IL Hødd
Idrottslaget Hødd is a multi-sports club from Ulsteinvik in Møre og Romsdal, Norway. Founded in 1919, it has sections for team handball, gymnastics and football. It is best known for their men's football team, which since 2015 plays at Høddvoll, whose stated capacity is 4,081. The club's old home ground, Høddvoll Stadion, holds the record attendance of over 12,000 spectators at a match against Vålerenga in 1981. Hareidlandet is an island in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The island is divided between Hareid Municipality and Ulstein Municipality. The island has a population of 13,030 (as of 2015).
