Ulrich Frank
Ulrich Frank (born 1958) is a German Business informatician and Professor of Business informatics at the University of Duisburg-Essen, known for his work on the state of the art in information systems research and the development of the Multi-Perspective Enterprise Modeling (MEMO) meta modelling framework. Life and work After studying business administration at the University of Cologne, Frank in 1988 received his doctorate from the University of Mannheim with a dissertation, entitled "Expertensysteme – Neue Automatisierungspotentiale im Büro- und Verwaltungsbereich" (''Expert systems - New Potentials for automation in office and administration area''). Frank wrote his habilitation in 1993 at the University of Marburg, and was appointed Professor of computer science at the University of Koblenz-Landau in 1994. Helmut Krcmar (born December 16, 1954) holds the Chair for Information Systems in the Department of Informatics at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany since 2002 with a joint appointment to TUM School of Management. Krcmar served as Dean of the Faculty of Informatics from 10/2010 until 09/2013. In July 2018 he was elected Vice Dean TUM School of Management and Founding Dean TUM Campus Heilbronn. He is academic director of the SAP University Competence Center @ TUM. Krcmar has supervised more than 100 Ph.D. students. Peter Mertens (born 17 December 1969) is a Belgian politician who led the Workers' Party of Belgium from 2008 to 2021. He has served as a member of the Chamber of Representatives since 2019, and as a municipal councilor in Antwerp since 2013. Youth Mertens was born in Antwerp. In 1987, when he was 18 years old, he founded the ''Studenten tegen Racisme'' (Students against Racism, SteR) with fellow UFSIA student Marc Spruyt. Four years later, when he was studying sociology at Ghent University, he led a student protest movement against the Gulf War. At this time he joined the youth organisation of the Workers' Party of Belgium, the ''Marxistisch-Leninistische Beweging'' (Marxist–Leninist Movement, MLB).
